It is a warm, diverse (age, race, ability,gender, body type,etc etc) welcoming space and community, cannot recommend it highly enough!
Excellent teachers, strong sense of community, and two really nice studio spaces in Mt Pleasant.
So, when I got back recently from a stressful work trip and needed a deep stretch, release and some grounding I went right back- Past Tense is my place on the mat for a community practice.
I love how many different class options there are, and how much I've learned from the many different teachers' styles and approaches to yoga.
There’s a great variety of classes in both locations with convenient times.
The studio's diverse offerings include not only yoga, but wellness events and community events of all kinds.
Good yoga, great people.
This is the place to go if you are looking for a neighborhood yoga studio to “grow your practice” that offers a cozy environment that is welcoming and supportive.
Attending classes here--yoga, pilates, and fitness-- regularly has done so much good for me physically and mentally.
There is a wide range of offerings, truly something for everyone, and the staff really works to embody their mission of cultivating community.
