My daughter has been going to Outshine for almost a year now and I plan to enroll my UTK daughter soon too. They pick up from Adobe Elementary ( can do both UTK early pick up and regular K-5 pick up), which was initially the biggest appeal for us. And we've grown to really appreciate the more family-like setting and relationships with Mr. and Mrs. Komen and their staff. As another parent mentioned they treat the kids like their own. When I pick my oldest up she always wants to stay longer. There's also a good overlap and separation of the older kids and younger kids, which we personally like with siblings. Outshine offers Mandarin, math and additional extra curriculars like dance so although not as many choices has structure and a playful approach to learning.
We recently moved to Scripps ranch area and we were very glad that we could found a close daycare place for our 2 and half year old daughter to attend.
My daughters could read and write Chinese and pinyin very well.
She can learn a lot from the program, such as math, English(they use Wordly Wise 3000 as English vocabulary text book, this is an excellent text book.
The teachers are wonderful, and everyone is pleasant and caring.
All of the staff were very kind and paid a great patience to my daughter, thanks all of you.
If you happen to have an introvert kid, this school absolutely is a smart choice.
