Teaching young children is very difficult but all the teachers understand the child's mind and thus enable the little ones to excel at their playing.
Additionally, the school is flexible and accommodating in scheduling, and offers instrument rental programs (at least for violin) that allow you to gauge your child’s interest/aptitude without having to first buy an instrument.
I worked at NYSA for several years as a piano instructor and the experience I had there was outstanding- They are extremely professional for accommodating both students and teachers and NYSA is truly the most enjoyable place for your kid to learn music.
I was so impressed and so happy to be part of the lessons.
Never having played a musical instrument before I am able to read music and I am starting Bass lessons at The NY String Academy.
He loves playing the piano thanks to his patient, experienced and caring teacher, Janice.
My son has been taking violin private lesson here with Ms Chung for two years and loves it.
Oh and they have a a beginner program to know if your child will be interested with the instrument.
