Newton Music Academy

I'd definitely highly recommend NMA to parents who are looking for music teachers for their young children.

We're approaching 15 years in total with NMA, including multiple teachers starting from Musical ABC class, 1:1 lessons for our two children, and even for me, taking up first time piano lessons as an adult.

My three children have attended Newton Music Academy since kindergarten and into middle school -- from little ones group classes to private piano.

She is so positive and supportive in her approach and has really effective strategies for helping you overcome barriers whether physical or psychological.

The Newton Music Academy really makes you feel comfortable, if you're an adult starting out with a new instrument.

My daughter has taken piano lessons there for 8 years with Sivan and Elena and our son has taken guitar lessons with Adrian for the past two years.

She is currently performing in Little Women with Theater III, and over the years has performed in Woodland Theater Company’s Fiddler on the Roof, in Wellesley Player’s Pinocchio, in Needham High School’s Les Miserable and in Temple Aliyah’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

After a few years of frustration with several guitar instructors, we found Adrian at NMA, an extremely talented teacher and musician.

Through my teachers and other students studying with other teachers, I’ve not only learned about the intellectual facets of music- how to play- but the curiosity and work ethic of a musician and music’s capacity as an expressive force that touches the soul and connects us all.
