
Joan McWilliams decided to open My Little Studio in 1996 in Stevensville, MD, and began selling her own work. In 2008, a larger storefront became available, and she was able to add Island Arts, where artists can rent space to display their work that is for sale. Since then the number of artists and versatility has grown, attracting artists from Kent Island, MD, Annapolis, MD and beyond. Not what you would expect from a traditional art gallery, ours is a place that we want people of all ages and interests to enjoy and feel comfortable shopping in, and taking classes in.
