At Madrone Hill Ranch we focus on teaching, training horses and riders with a strong emphasis placed on the often overlooked "basics" of dressage, which are applicable to all horses and riders. Sonja Biada, 2010 Horse Trainer of the Year, starts & trains horses and teaches riders by using trust and respect as a tool to show the horse the right thing is easy, and the wrong thing is difficult; using techniques commonly known as natural horsemanship but referred to by Sonja as training through trust.
