My son (6yrs old) has been taking piano lessons with Chelsea for the past year. This is his first experience with music lessons and it has been wonderful. Chelsea has been a caring, careful, and patient teacher. She is always laughing through the lessons, and makes my son feel so comfortable and relaxed. He looks forward to his lessons, and has been so happy to learn how to play songs. He plays for family and friends, and loved participating in his first recital. He has gone from no music experience to learning the grand staff and where to put his fingers in the past year. We appreciate the ease with which the music school works, using paypal, email, and the teacher coming to our house. It has really been a wonderful first year of lessons and we expect to continue.

We have had the joy of seeing our students learn how to play the ukulele and recorder, all for a very affordable cost.
He's been studying with her for four years - she's changed not only his music, but also his life.
He is very patient, does not rush the lessons, takes his time to explain (likes show the proper hand placement, sitting, etc) and he makes sure my daughter takes down notes 😊.
Music is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our kids & LA School of Music makes it easy & fun.
Our teacher Genna is friendly and supportive and class is small so she can teach to our level and tailor comments to our specific areas of improvement.
