
You are fortunate if you have the opportunity to work with Denise Lively. While working with Denise in semi-private personal training, I was impressed by her focus on correcting my slight but important errors in my form which added to the overall improvement of my workouts. I was so impressed with Denise that I insisted that she train my husband who was significantly out of shape and hesitant to go to a gym. Since working with Denise, he looks and feels great! I am sure her supportive, positive attitude was an important component.

She knows how to push you to your limit, then go one more level so you're amazed at what you can do.

When I first started, I had concerns about injury as I have hurt myself exercising in the past, but Denise is always watching and teaching me the proper form.
She seems to understand the aging process and what moves should be avoided as well as what things may need special attention as a result of the aging process (balance).
My workouts have a variety of moves to work on flexibility, strength, balance and endurance as a senior.
I especially appreciates that she targets skills that are challenging for me but never makes me feel I am not capable.
She shows up with a genuine smile and laughter…but don’t let that fool you into thinking there is an “easy workout” in your future because that’s not the case.
She has a lot of experience and knows how to use it to keep Boomers like me in top shape.
She gently encourages us to improve but aware of age related restrictions.
Denise always presents a well thought out varied strength training program that hones in on your particular area of weakness.
