Sensei Lana, and her family have a very gentle but firm approach and teach how important it is to follow through!

Kia Kids offers great programs for students with special needs encouraging confidence, strength, and discipline.

We looked at several other karate studios but just felt at home with Kia kids.

I highly recommend this place to anyone with an interest in jujitsu in GENERAL but especially if you are a parent or have a child w/special needs & they are looking to get into martial arts or if they need a little discipline or some fun stuff to do

They are wonderful with children, including those with special needs.

Our son started with her on a 1 on 1 class because he couldn't follow direction even putting the uniform on was a big deal and is now able to do a group class (no issues wearing his kimono), her patience and ability to deal with kids are a gift that not many people have.

The kids behave really well and it is really fun to take part in the activities they do there.

Great instructors and a family-oriented environment.
