The thought of learning piano as an adult was daunting, especially when I considered my jam-packed schedule with a full-time career, being a full-time mom, and a full-time caretaker for my elderly mother.

I can’t recommend her enough for any age or experience level of student.

Katie has been so amazing with my kids, I can’t recommend her enough!

I previously had a longer negative review here, along with a one-star rating, but I concede I was just upset at what I perceived to be behavior revealing insufficient respect for parental decisions.

I really appreciate that Katie has high standards for my playing ability and expects her students to not give up until the piece is perfect.

I’m not sure what kind of piano voodoo magic she does but it’s incredible to see him go from just banging chords to actually playing different parts with both hands and sounding amazing.

Throughout our time together, she’s been the best cheerleader and always motivates me to challenge myself.

She guides a student through all aspects of creating music and pushes students to grow into the musicians they can be.

I am having a blast learning and I can’t wait to get better and better each week.

She has done an excellent job using different techniques for them based on their learning style and age.
