Our favorite teacher Karina always thoughtful and supportive.
I have had other experiences with beginner classes that either keep you on the barre and don't challenge you, OR clearly have never taught beginners, and a cold, serious teaching style.
She started off at a recreational school that offered all types of dance but I wanted more of a traditional ballet school for her.
In addition to learning the main dance, in each session, she also showed us a different Armenian folk dance style or signature moves so we kept discovering more about the national dance and learning about Armenian culture.
My little one is so into Karina’s ballet classes so she practices that everywhere.
Karina is a great teacher, focuses on classical ballet technique, and builds a fun community around class and performing.
She is high quality strong teaching, has a heart of gold, and rounds it out with a great sense of humor!
The dancers and instructors exhibit a strong work ethic, personal warmth and passion for the art.
