
Nik, a native from Switzerland, studied Piano Pedagogy with Prof. Alwin Pfister and Piano Performance with Prof. Hans Schicker at the the Zürich Conservatory for Music. He earned his diploma in 1998 and got certified as a piano teacher by SMPV, Switzerland's licensing board for music teachers the same year. Nik worked at JMP Community Music School near Zürich as a piano teacher before moving to the United States in 2001. He has been teaching private piano lessons in the Iowa City area since 2006.
