Impact Jiu Jitsu (Hillsboro)

Having been brought to Brazil in the early 1900s, Jiu Jitsu soon made its way to the rest of the world, eventually becoming a widely practiced sport and merging with those who practice mixed martial arts competitions. It was initially introduced to the United States by the infamous Gracie family. The Gracie's perfected Jiu Jitsu through no-holds-barred fighting and then showcased their art in the “Ultimate Fighting Championships”. Today, Jiu Jitsu has become a staple in every fight academy. With its efficacy in ground tactics, it has grown into an intricate web of endless possibilities within a match.

My daughters (ages 8 and 13) love going there.
In the two days I was in town and attended classes as a blue belt we learned two techniques I was aware of and taught differently.
Ive been doing BJJ and Kickboxing here for about 3 months and its been amazing the coaches here are welcoming and very knowledgable it feels more like a family than anything especially if your in with the kickboxing crowd (shoutout to coach sean).
Give it at try, you literally have nothing to lose, you get a free class or you can do challange.
After a just a few weeks at Impact Jiu Jitsu Hillsboro Dora’s dance instructors started telling me stories about how she was supporting other dancers that were nervous and I watched her cheering on fellow swim students like she learned at Jiu Jitsu.
I take self defense classes there I love my trainer he is the best and very understanding.
I have my 12 year old daughter who was extremely nervous to come in for BJJ as she’s never been in any physical contact sport.
Impact coaches have worked with him over the years to help him come out of his shell and make him a better person in everyday life.
Here are a few things that stood out to me compared to other BJJ places:
The coaches and owner (who also coaches) are incredibly attentive, supportive, knowledgeable, patient, and kind.
