This is a very unique offering from this studio, where each week all students are sent a “piece of the week” email which includes a recording of a famous piece of piano music, with background information written by the teacher. This lets students learn more about the history of piano music, and also exposes them to a large variety of beautiful music played the best performers in the world, which has many long-term benefits.

He has made every effort to support our Ohana even offering virtual lessons via Skype which has been great because we were not comfortable meeting face to face due to Covid.
My son has been going to Ian's Music studio for almost 2 years, and he loves and enjoys going to his piano lessons.
He also sends out a weekly email with a piano piece that he teaches you about, then you can listen to it on youtube.
Ian can be very accommodating and it's a bonus the studio is just minutes away near Waikele shopping center.
I have taken lessons with Ian for almost a year now, and I cannot recommend him as a teacher highly enough.
Ian is kind, patient and very comfortable with young people.
Not only has my ability to play the piano improved but also my understanding of music theory has increased.
My son has been taking lessons here and enjoys it.
