For 15 years, HTAC has been one of the premiere theatrical arts instructional institutions in South Jersey. While we produce several shows (and now films) throughout the year, our primary focus is teaching the craft of acting with a curriculum that is specifically tailored to each age group. Whether students attend classes with hopes of a professional career or simply want to have fun with their peers, the skills achieved through our classes are skills that prove beneficial for life itself. I love htac
Our son was lucky enough to call HTAC his second home for 11 years from elementary school through high school, and the owners Scott and Christa Laska influenced my son so much he not only went on to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre, but follow in their academic college choice.
I also was a student at the school for several years taking advantage of adult acting and improv classes, which have helped me professionally as an executive.
For our 2 kids over 6 years, HTAC taught them so much…acting, singing, confidence and how to be good people 💛 …
Christa and Scott encourage their students to grow their artistic interests and support the success of each and every actor who enters through their space.
Now an alum of the program, I can speak with hindsight and say that their caring and nurturing attitude, along with their genuine desire to see me succeed in the performing arts, gave me all the skills and confidence I needed to decide on pursuing music in my adult life.
I am currently a theater and performance major in college, and I would not be here without Scott and Christa's guidance and support.
