The teaching at HSM is wonderful and has gone a long ways towards helping me deal with performance nerves. Ensemble playing is available and encouraged, and this also has helped me—plus, I really enjoy it. The overall spirit of the school is that of good humor, positivity, and encouragement. It is difficult to put into words but my daughter is so much more knowledgeable about music and has a greater appreciation for music because of the time she spent with Emma.
Haddonfield School of Music has continued my daughters lessons virtually through these difficult times.
Caring and talented teachers along with flexibility during a terrible year have allowed us to not miss a beat all year.
All three if my children and my wife have or are taking lessons and each benefited greatly from HSM.
Emma Hey have been stellar in providing encouragement during these times and going above and beyond to keep the students engaged, such as Ms Hey (viola) hosting biweekly virtual group classes on her own time for her students, to provide interaction opportunities.
At the youngest age they’ve been involved in the awe inspiring Grand Recitals and now that they are older they think of performance as second nature.
The staff is always helpful and the teachers are really responsive to their students' interests.
They have learned so much and look forward to their lessons each week, especially when they get to rehearse with his band.
Additionally, my oldest child was able to take a few voice lessons in preparation for an audition without having to commit to long term voice lessons.
The staff and instructors go over and above to connect with their students, and give them the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
