I have danced at two different professional ballet schools' open beginner adult classes in two different states, two other small studios' adult classes in two other states, and even a beginner ballet course in college. Other than the college class, I never stayed beyond two months. None of them were the right fit. I've now happily been at Golden Ballet Theater (GBT) for over a year! Though 99% of us adult dancers will not professionally dance, Ms. Kelly treats us (and trains us) like actual dancers. She invests in us, meets us where we are, focuses on our technique, explains the musculature and physiological fundamentals underlying technique, and how we can prevent injury and grow stronger. We have even danced in two recitals and taken a ballet exam in the year I have been with GBT!...

I danced for 13 years when I was younger and now as an adult I love the variety of classes, the atmosphere and the ability to brush up on my skills and grow on top of that!
I have danced at two different professional ballet schools' open beginner adult classes in two different states, two other small studios' adult classes in two other states, and even a beginner ballet course in college.
The recitals, the Christmas play including the fun the kids get to enjoy being in class plus the teacher rewards the kids for putting so much effort into learning new routines and improving and also their yearly awards.
This has been a wonderful place for my daughter to do ballet.
Kelly works hard to help ballet meet you where your body is at, while still educating on proper techique and ensuring every dancer feels beautiful in the studio and on stage!
Both my daughter and I have taken classes with her and have seen her expert ability to teach on every level.
The vibe is different from other studios, it's more intimate and inclusive and there's no crazy competition among the parents.
Kelly is a wonderful teacher and my daughter has very much enjoyed taking class with her.
I know that it’s too early to say, but I enjoyed two adult ballet classes with Kelly so much that decided to sigh up for a year.
I love the environment she gives, its so welcoming.
