Eden's Aspens Horsemanship

My training focuses on reading where the horse is showing brace and unwillingness. This could be physically from pain, mentally from poor previous training, or emotionally from being mistreated or simply misunderstood. I believe every horse has a special gift. Often they need to be taught how to understand and use it. It is not about the horse doing something right or wrong, it is about you learning and being able to teach your horse what you are expecting. From clear communication and understanding comes trust and that's where partnership blossom. I will never tire of seeing each partnership grow into something unique and touching.

He’s flourished here and we are now confidently riding, have gone on our first trail ride, and have such a great bond.
She is patient with both horse and rider, uses pressure and release methods but also takes both horse and rider’s emotional state into account in a way that truly deepens the relationship between the two.
She teaches horse owners how to form a relationship with their horse that is built on the foundation of mutual respect and appreciation for one another.
When we first moved to Colorado in February 2018, my mare and I wanted a relationship but couldn't figure out how to cross the bridge to actually "BE" with one another.
I rest easy in knowing that Autumn and her staff are attentive to all of the needs of our herd, and they completely rise to the occasion when extra care is needed.
I very much appreciate that Autumn is passionate about creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable and drama free environment for members of the Eden’s Aspens community.
Our two rescued horses have come from some pretty rough backgrounds, and working with the whole horse (mentally, emotionally and physically) it has given us a bond with our horses we could have never imagined.
I’ve been boarding and taking lessons here for nearly five years and I’ve grown so much as a horsewoman because of them.
It’s a place where I can board my horse and feel confident about his care, and also be supported in learning the things I want and need to know.
