Our oldest daughter started dancing at DDF in 2014 when she was 4 and now spends every day of the week there!
What I love about Downtown Dance Factory is that it has something for dancers of all interests and abilities -- students can take a class just for fun or they can pursue a total dance specialization that lands them at Laguardia and Juilliard.
Spans intro to dance to some of the most talented dancers I’ve ever seen.
Last year my husband and I were so surprised and impressed by how amazing the recitals are and the quality of dancing.
The dance teachers were wonderful and the rest of the staff were very proactive in setting up, serving food/drinks and cleaning up afterwards.
They have everything organized to the dot, follow the process in a very strict (but good) way and help you with anything you need, from arranging extra decorations to managing children who are not being good players.
Hanne and Melanie and the entire staff at DDF have really created a special place where all dancers can find a place and call it home.
Downtown Dance Factory has amazing teachers and such a warm, welcoming, and supportive community.

At the end of each week, they put on a surprisingly professional show at the studio for parents to watch, and it is so much fun!
