Our family is so happy that we found Dan Hurd's Academy of Martial Arts. My son has been taking classes for over 6 years and as we watched him progress, the rest of the family started taking classes too. Mr Hurd and Mr Dahlhaus both genuinely love their art and teaching it to others. Each class is engaging for the students and helps build confidence and discipline. If you have ever been interested in learning martial arts, this is the place to go!

The kids really enjoy being in his class and my son is always excited and and can't wait for his next class.

The dojo is the perfect balance of fun, discipline, and character building while learning life saving skills.
I thought that was it but they started offering Zoom classes and watching my kids rekindled my spark for my karate days so I asked if I could join the adult Zoom class even though I wasn't a student before and they welcomed me.
Not only were they able to adapt during these unknown and difficult times, but they were able to do it with such positivity that gave everyone hope that there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
This is the best school, please give them a try, you'll have no regrets!
The instructors are very patient and make sure the kids are having a good time, even when the kids might get frustrated learning a new concept.
