During cooking, our team appreciated her pacing of the different parts of the recipe, as well as all the helpful tips and techniques that she explained along the way.

This gave me knowledge I can use to either follow the recipe exactly or make modifications with some confidence of how those modifications will affect cooking time, etc.

She was patient with us and all of our questions and since we're in different time zones, she even explained how to finish the dish if we were going to serve it later.

When it came time to do the cooking, Edie gave us live, verbal instructions that were easy to follow, taught us knife techniques and made sure we were able to follow along every step.

Whether we were on different steps working at different speeds, dealing with temperamental smoke detectors, or other household distractions, Edie was calm, cool, and collected throughout the class!

She offers healthy dishes that include familiar and non-familiar ingredients but provides alternatives for those the non-familiar ingredients as well.

She focused on useful and practical skills, and presented it in an entertaining and helpful way.

Edie was great at designing a menu (provided a lot of options/ideas to start with, including flexibility for various dietary restrictions), super communicative the entire way through, and really insightful and excited during the event itself.

After hunting for an online cooking class for my remote team, I stumbled upon Creative Cook and was drawn in by the custom-designed menus.

Edie took time to explain why she used different tools and better ways to cook certain foods.
