As the program has grown over the last 5 years, I have seen subtle changes and improvements to the curriculum, always with a focus on student engagement and innovative teaching methods.
The skills they teach here go beyond how to play an instrument (multiple options available, btw); they also instill an appreciation of music as an art, as the good stuff of life.
Jason, Shawna, Lucas and Eskender are amazing with the kids, have created a wonderful environment for them to learn and develop a love for music, and are great at communicating.
We were absolutely blown away by how quickly Blue in Green was able to transition to online learning when we went into lockdown and we have been continually amazed with the extra activities and projects they’ve developed to keep our kids learning and loving music.
They provided excellent in-person age approriate and engaging instruction.
The staff has also been really great with working with our schedule and accommodating us, especially with the organizing of virtual lessons.
Our daughter started a couple years ago and has found such a passion for creating music.
