Billington do an excellent job teaching, he does it in a way that inspires his students.
John’s methods are highly tailored to what it takes to get to NC state level competition and he has a long list of students who have excelled over the past 20 years.
He helped me earn seats in the NC All-District Honors Band several years in a row, and helped me qualify and prepare for the NC All-State auditions several times as well.
He started with virtual lesson during Covid and switched to in-person recently.
He's also helped my son prepare for various performances and auditions, and has been a great resource for finding new music to play.
