Aviva Pilates

Due to my very odd schedule, I preferred privates during which both Aviva and Ryan truly listened to my body's need for strength and my spirit's need for rest and recharge.

The meditation was very relaxing and then we did a few different yoga poses and stretches.

I also really loved the studio - it's intimate (small group sessions), modern, clean and all of the equipment is new.

Aviva Pilates takes care to make sure you understand basic concepts, but supports you in taking on more advanced moves and classes.

This is truly a boutique studio that focuses on individual needs, with wonderful instructors that understand body mechanics to ensure you gain strength without risking injury.

Pilates is so much about form and breathing and they make sure that you are absolutely doing every movement as needed !!!

I heard Aviva speak at a community event about her craft- I use that word intentionally- and I was very struck by her extensive, holistic knowledge and passion for the practice (& she is extremely friendly and down-to-earth!

Signing up for classes is obvious if you live in Miami Shores, but even if you don't, it's worth the drive.

We love Ryan too, he is also an excellent teacher who knows how to push our bodies in just the right way!

Pre natal and now post classes are not only the best choice for your body but also a place where professionalism meets the warmest experience for such an important life in our lives!
