Sensei Moeller has dedicated 35+ years of his time into making this a center of learning for anybody who wants to learn how to learn Okinawan Karate in the same traditional ways that he and his masters learned.
Positive Communication, Quality, Professionalism, Value
You could not ask for a more selfless individual to share what he has acquired over decades of practicing authentic martial arts.
Sessions consist of group training combined with individual training, to give attention to each person's level of learning.
From all my training, I have seen many kinds of teaching, but two systems have stood out; one is our system here and the other was a very traditional southern kung fu kwoon.
I can attest and certify the fact that this is a legitimate and real Okinawan martial arts dojo , you don't teach weapons to a novice, its like handing a gun to a child as I have yet to see a pedestrian with sai ,kama ,numchuck ,bo ,jo ,chinnai ,swords both short and long, tanto and body armor, shirukens, darts, naginatas, and arrows (we are slowly getting there) Karate is not karate kid type movie takes a lifetime , don't want to sweat just buy the obi and brag while watching karate movies in the front room or find someone to sell you the degree you feel you need
The fact that I have driven past everyone of those to train with Moeller Sensei for the past (almost) 20 years should tell you something of the appreciation I have for his knowledge and his spirit.
Over these past 14 years I have thoroughly enjoyed the training received in the traditional Okinawan martials arts of Shobayashi Shorin Ryu and Shudokan systems of Karate-do.
It's a great place to learn lessons for life as well as karate.
His love of the martial arts is readily apparent, and no matter what the challenges are, he always finds a way to spark curiosity in each student, which I find only in the greatest teachers.
