Amherst Ballet was the only school within a reasonable distance that was willing to place her by level, rather than age, and provide the rigorous level of training and engagement that keeps my student inspired!
The staff are very flexible in allowing you to take trial lessons, and if you don’t want to commit for the whole year they allow you to try a semester at a time—- we have been really happy with our experience so far, and the new director Mikayla is a lovely dancer and warm, encouraging teacher!
They need funding to continue with excellent courses, shows, the program ballet for all, guest dancers, workshops, events, plus maintenance of that old building.
