Their families. We have loved that it is a fairly small group and they really get to know each other and become lifelong friends. My daughter never felt homesick, she missed me, but she loved camp. Regarding technique, I think anytime you do something 6 days a week for multiple hours you get better. They really learned how to learn choreography fast since they only have a week to put on a show. She was able to learn different styles of moves from seeing other dancers from other studios preform. When you have new instructors and are with new dancers you have a different perspective. They of course have fun, but they dance a lot and they do come away from camp a better dancer than when they arrived. My daughter felt confident and prepared for her audition and we couldn't have done it without ADTC.
