Meet Your Teacher Alicia Barrett Based in Hillsboro, Oregon, I am a professional pianist, music educator, and member of both Music Teachers National Associations (MTNA) and Oregon Music Teachers Association (OMTA). Following the successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in music from the University of Oregon (3. 61 GPA), I relocated the Hillsboro area where I have, for the past ten years, managed a thriving private piano studio, have been the music director for Theater in the Grove musical productions, and have continued my work as a performing artist.
