Scott “Einstein” Epstein is amazing and caring Jiu Jitsu instructor, he has the ability to break down intricate details of techniques so anyone can grasp the concept. From beginners to experienced grapplers 10th Planet west LA has it all. I travel around the country for work and very few gyms that I visit have the same welcoming atmosphere and high level instruction that 10th Planet West LA has to offer. Not physically of course, but in my head
Cali has the most BJJ gyms in the US so to find a good gym is hard enough and to find a good gym near you is just God showing you some love.
All the instructors (Scott, Bryant, Sebastian, Jay, Amanda, Eddie, Fletch, Andrew) teach in a very approachable way for all levels!
Great spot
On top of that I found Scott's humor very funny, partly because there was close to no filter in his jokes.
Instructors are very good, people are cool, and it's a great way to get into shape.
Students range from beginners to black belts, and everyone is helpful and cool and happy to explain to you how they collected your leg, and what you should do to stop that the next time.

Started 6 months ago knowing nothing and have been adopted by coaches and all higher belts who are always giving genuine advice and wanting me to succeed.
The head coach Scott is amazing, loves what he does and really puts time into his student & gym.
