FAQs

What impact will two years at the Academy have on my college admission?

Not only will you still be able to go to college, you will more prepared than ever and you enter college with college credit and an advanced understanding of your self, creativity and the arts

Can I still be in my High School shows?

Yes. We encourage work in outside productions as long as you don't choose simultaneous productions that cause conflicts in rehearsal or performance. Remember, students at the Academy need only participate onstage or back stage in one of our eight yearly productions. Technical Theatre Focus

Will I still be able to be in shows at the Academy?

Yes, students that join the Technical Theatre Focus will have the same opportunities to Audition for Academy shows as everyone else in the Academy. They will not be required to Audition for acting roles but will be required to participate in at least two shows a year assisting with the design, stage management or run crew for the show. For students who wish to do more than two shows a year many additional opportunities are available.
