Spring 2022 marks our final transition, ending the two year holding pattern we have been stuck in since the start of COVID-19. Moving forward A Kopp Music will be the home to owners Andrew & Alicia Kopp for online music lessons in Piano, Woodwinds,, Shakuhachi, and Early Music (ages 4 – 7). Our remarkable staff of instructors have been released from employment to best decide on how to proceed with their own private lesson practice. We are so honored and humbled to have had the opportunity to work with these fine musicians over the past 5 years and will be referring students to them moving forward whenever possible. While this news seems bittersweet, please know that we are happy that we can turn the page finally. You never know what you are going to get when you start a business, and not a one of us could have predicted a global pandemic! We loved our in-person studio and very much miss it. The fact that we were able to switch to online lessons so quickly and successfully without missing a beat still blows our minds. Our business model was rooted in our in-person practice, and while we did alright over the past two years online, it is very much time for us to let it go and start over creating something in this different world that is continuing to unfold in front of us. There is a lot of thankfulness and joy that we have found even during the past two years from the continued support of our community. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You.
