Born in 1930 this women has pretty much done and seen it all. Growing up in the depression and being raised when women were far from equal to men, this women has put a major stamp on the Thoroughbred Racehorse Industry. Making her mark as top women racehorse trainer for many years of her life. She was the 1st licensed womens jockey in the state of Washington and the 2nd by 2 weeks in the U.S. Her famous words are “We had to show the boys that us girls could do it just as good as they can! ” Eileen rode an average of 20+ horses per day on the track est. 2 miles each for over 40 years.
