Our campers have been so engaged with the program, with Coach Sankofa's teaching style, with the approach taken by him and his staff, and it's a program that has grown at our camp by leaps and bounds.
Coach Mika'il Sankofa is a talented coach and an awesome mentor to my 12 year-old daughter who has been fencing with Thrust Academy for a year and a half.
I started fencing in my freshmen year in high school and improved a lot throughout the years thanks to Mika'il Sankofa.
Coach Mika’il not only focuses on challenging him to mold him into a great athlete, but has also committed his time and attention to groom his character as well.
Coupled with his own personal achievements as Olympian he is creating a beautiful environment for our children to explore, build and manifest!
