We served over 600 youth through our community partnerships. In response to the pandemic, we adapted our programs to virtual distance learning and are thrilled to continue partnering with KairosPDX Elementary School and Central Catholic High School. This summer we also began a partnership with Urban League of Portland. Steps for Youth's after-school and in-school dance programs focus on providing quality, affordable and enriching dance education. Students learn dance history, concepts (i. e space, energy, pathways), the health benefits of moving and stretching their bodies, and collaborate with their peers to create dances.

She makes sure that all movers feel welcome, all levels and backgrounds!
Refreshing, lots of windows & light, makes you want to move.
I’ll be back for sure
Dance church is a sweat drenching good time!
Highly recommend to visit sometime if you’re an experienced dancer or not!
Great space, and an awesome selection of genres to choose from!
The space is a little removed from the street, and the studio feels intimate, but lots of soul goes on here!
My daughter is in the ballet program, she loves her Steps PDX curriculum because it teaches a rigorous and precise technique for pre-professional ballet students.
