Owners Billy Shannon and Nick Wallace established Shannon Jiu-Jitsu in 2020. Before opening their own physical Jiu-Jitsu academy, they had been teaching their program for over 15 years. A former wrestler, Billy missed the sport and ultimately found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a way to dive back into grappling. He was so passionate about the art he decided to establish a gym in his hometown. Today he's happy to continue living out his passion. Billy couldn't envision anything better than building a community and legacy for Jiu-Jitsu in Linden.

Slightly late review here, but wanted to thank Nick for welcoming us into the jiu-jitsu gym for my son’s 2nd birthday back in April.
While I don't always love that, just due to the injury risk, everyone I rolled with was relatively controlled from the feet and didn't attack anything with unnecessary roughness.
I was also happy to see patches representing local law enforcement agencies.
Clean mats, experienced instructors, and a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
All I can honestly say is after almost 3 years my kid asks to go to jujitsu almost everyday that in itself should tell you everything.
