Progresso is the first place I tried Jiu Jitsu at, and it was one of the best introductory experiences to a new sport/community that I have ever had. Professor Alex is an extremely detailed, patient, and welcoming coach, and went out of his way to help me learn the material that day. The other students were similarly patient, welcoming, and helpful, and I came away really impressed. Side note - the facility is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Awesome environment to learn in. If you are looking to try Jiu Jitsu (or push your comfort zone with a new sport), or simply an experienced Jiu Jitsu athlete looking to join a new gym, you can't go wrong with this place.

Sentiment Analysis
Professor Trans articulates his passion well while catering towards all levels.
World class instruction from Professor Trans and Davi, and great service from Thomas at the front.
I went to lots of other local Jiu Jitsu academies to try them out before coming to Progresso.
The students are highly skilled, much better than me, and they provided exceptional guidance and did not go overboard with an unskilled person, like myself.
The coaches are great with all the kids and have a wealth of talent, knowledge, patience, and trophies between them all.
I took my first bjj class ever there, and you could immediately tell that this was a great place and community to learn in.

Professor Alex has an incredible professional jiu jitsu track record and he is clearly and expert teach and chill guy to talk to.
100% recommended, good way to relieve stress!
His attention to detail along with his competition experience allow him to give another perspective while teaching so you understand not only the moves being taught, but the common reactions from opponents, and the how’s AND why’s of doing something.
