My son has been taking lessons since September 2017. The lessons have been paced strategically, and he has grown tremendously. He is playing songs that I wouldn't have expected him to play for at least another year or so. Learning to play the piano has been an amazing experience for him especially when he has such an Amazing piano teacher. Now that he is moving into more complex songs, he has a bigger role in picking his song choices, and is even being taught how to compose his own music. She is truly vested in the growth and talent of her students.
