The owner of Personalized Prep, Sean Yen, told me to ignore the “doubters. ” His unwavering faith that I could achieve the test scores and grades necessary to get into a 4 year college, made me believe it too. I am much more passionate about my education now, knowing that someone out there believes in me. I am now enjoying life at my reach school, The University of Arizona. "

Reflecting on my experiences at both places, I can see the huge difference doing one-on-one tutoring did for my ACT score (it went from a 23 to a 32).
Ever since I started coming to Personalized Prep seven years ago, I have gained the tools necessary to not only in school, but with tools necessary to deal with stress, conflict, time management, and prioritization.
With their help, I am guaranteed to score high on all of my homework and tests because they actually help me understand the course content I am partaking in.
Initially working with Sean, each section was increasing little by little from the work he would give me at his office when I would attend once or twice a week, and the daily homework I had to do.
Personalized Prep has helped me improve my ACT score a lot, by encouraging me and making me feel confident in my abilities.
All of the tutors are very friendly and the environment is welcoming and comfortable with many students even staying before or after their tutoring sessions to study or work on homework.
My family and I have worked with Sean (owner) for several years now and he an amazing tutor who takes the time to get to know every single one of his clients, making sure that they are achieving their goals.
I was recommended to go to Personalized Prep from my older sister after she had a great experience with raising her ACT score after no other ACT tutoring places helped.
I don't know what I would have done without Personalized Prep, and I recommend them to anyone who truly wants to improve.
