After moving to Elmont a few years ago, I debated on what extracurricular activities I could sign my daughter up for. During the pandemic she put on some extra weight and I had to find some form of exercise for her. My daughter saw a Karate Kid movie and took a liking to it and she asked me to watch more karate movies. I thought about it and also realized with school bullying, that I would like for her to be able to defend herself. I've driven by the Okinawa Karate a few times, and one day I pulled over just to see how the kids in the class performed. The kids followed instructions and performed in unison.
