Additionally, this dance school is like family to me rather than just a class and has taught me so much throughout the years.
We started our journey after watching NSDA’s annual school show and were so impressed with the quality of dance, discipline and dedication the students showed which is a reflection of the Guru.
She also encourages her students to actively participate in nritya-seva (community service through dance) several times throughout the year.
5/27/2020: Every year passing I see so much maturity in my child's dance and also knowledge about the history of dance and respect for dance and dance teacher.
I have learned so much over the years and have developed a relationship with the other students and teacher and now consider them all my second family!
My daughter has been learning dance with Vandita Parikh for many years.
One great thing about NSDA is every show/ performance is associated with a charity and that is great for kids to learn from very young age that through their dance, they are helping the community.
She has brought the joy of folk dance to those unlearned in any dance form and allowed us to experience the spirituality of dance movement.
Vandita, understood her strength, her shyness and worked with her to get the best out of her.
I have been a part of NSDA for over a year now and Vandita’s commitment, dedication and passion towards teaching dance is evident while watching her NSDA virtual annual show on various folk forms, despite Covid.
