New England Academy of Dance
NEAD offers two opportunities for students to share their artistry and learned skills with their friends and family in our annual productions of The Nutcracker and Spring Concert. Students from ballet 1 and up are invited to participate in The Nutcracker held in December and our Spring Concert held in June. Performing is an important aspect of the dancer's training, the goal is to build self-confidence, poise, and a feeling of accomplishment that is fostered by performing before a live audience.

General comments: Excellent training as a pre-professional ballet school that is also balanced and nurturing
The directors inspire a love of dance, encourage a collaborative environment for the girls, and foster the importance of community service.
Each year they produce an outstanding Nutcracker performance as well as a full length classical ballet or contemporary dance performance bringing in professional dancers for Master Classes and provide community service opportunities for their dancers.
