It's funny, in my 26 years as a trainer, I tend to think of clients ages' as the age they were when I started with them. Over the past two days, I have been reminded that is not the case – and that's not only a good thing, it's an amazing thing. In one client's gym, he has a picture of his 60 th birthday celebration last year. This client not only doesn't look 60, he plays a high performance sport, and is one of my strongest clients. I client I saw today reminded me that she is 74, and I don't believe it. Not only is she very active, doing additional exercise activities other than training with me, she takes care of two young grandchildren on occasion, and that takes stamina.
