Gabe Reed is a classical pianist from Bend, Oregon. He graduated summa cum laude from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In Bend, Gabe studied for twelve years with Jan Saito, and while at Santa Clara he studied with Hans Boepple. At Santa Clara, Gabe worked as a teaching assistant in music theory classes of his fellow students. He was awarded the Irene M. and Roe A. Maier music scholarship and won the university's Concerto and Aria Competition, earning the chance to solo with the school orchestra. Gabe is now completing his Master of Music in Piano at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he is a student of Sharon Mann. Even though it’s private lessons, I look forward to the community aspect this studio brings by attending the studio wide sessions where we get to perform what we’re working on and give feedback to other studio members to help our creative process expand and flourish, as well as the recitals where we can invite friends and family and perform for them what we’ve all been working on!
They don't just focus on learning an instrument; they help kids become well-rounded musicians.
The Little Mission Studio is a well organized, supportive environment for my children to love learning how to play the guitar and violin.
A misnomer only in that it's not little at all!
My kids have taken lessons here for piano and percussion here for years and love it.
