It is a form of Hatha Yoga, and uses many of the identical postures. Oftentimes the focus is on abdominal strengthening, and so is frequently working with the Manipura chakra, the seat of personal power and warrior/goddess energy. But all the energetic hot spots are worked! Kundalini Yoga includes more spinal exercises, mudra, bhanda, sustained dynamic exercises , more seated exercises, breath control techniques, more time for stillness, and a curated music playlist.
