Our son showed an interest in piano a little over a year ago and has been taking lessons with Kristie since.
Learning the harp was a retirement goal of mine, and as an adult beginner I had no music background, couldn't read music, didn't know much at all about a bass clef, and had never played an instrument of any kind.
Kristie has always been so encouraging with my practice and makes me feel so positive (it doesn’t matter how old you are, as long as you love something, you should do it!
Kristie always sends home some pieces to practice on and is always so patient when my daughter has a bit of trouble or didn’t follow up with the practicing.
This has made a positive impact on my thinking, planning, and organizational skills, not only in music, but also, in my day to day activities.
She successfully was able to keep her focused and made music fun for her rather than a chore.
My daughter has had 8 harp lessons now and is only 5 years old but I am extremely please with how patient and caring Kristie is.
