Jungyae Martial Arts Academy
Grand Master Michael Davis began training in the martial arts at age 11. He participated in various programs throughout his youth and continued through his college years. In 1990 he joined the Jungyae Martial Arts Academy of Kirkland, a martial arts school that incorporated numerous skills and techniques of self-defense from Korea, Japan and China. He was personally trained by Grand Master Won Kuk Kim, the developer of this system. Upon earning his 1st degree black belt in 1994, he took over the Founder's school and began his career as an instructor in the Jungyae system of martial arts where he has continued developing and teaching the Jungyae system at the Jungyae Martial Arts Academy of Kirkland, WA.

Sentiment Analysis
Great place for kids to learn discipline, power of repetition and practice along with hard work.
My son has been training for over a year and my daughter has just started, they both really like it.
Grand Master Davis can teach everyone from children to adults!
Both Mike and Sheryl (his wife and business partner) clearly love spending time with kids - they run day camps during the summer (my boys’ FAVORITE camps), where they spend all day with kids, and THEN run all of their usual classes at night!
He has built a great community in which children, teens, and adults alike to learn and grow in many facets of martial arts.
Now 15 years old, my son has gained physical strength and confidence, learned perseverance, patience and the value of plain hard work.
The Academy is 'home away from home' where they have learned martial arts but also life skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
It is more than martial arts instruction, it is the real feeling of belonging to and being valued by a community, at whose heart are Sir and Mrs Sir.
While Grand Master has high expectations for the children in his program, he treats each child as an individual and with nothing but respect.
If you have years of experience or are a beginner at Martial Arts, I invite you to watch a class or two, read his bio and talk to some students and parents.
