Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0 Riverside
Both my boys have been in karate here for 2+ years now and I have been in the kickboxing class since 2017. At first it was a struggle getting into a new workout routine but I kept coming back because I loved the class, the instructor and the people. In 10/2018, I decided to change my eating ways along with increasing my workouts and have lost 40 pounds and have muscles I have never seen before! !!! Everyday is different, no workout is the same. In addition to punching and kicking the bag you also get weight training, cardio, and so much more. Every time feels like a full body workout. The instructor is the best, well trained and helps you meet and exceed your goals. The class is fun and inspiring and has a family vibe you won't find anywhere else. Everyone supports and cheers each...

New Jiu jitsu classes
I can honestly say that martial arts has helped both my son and daughter (ages 8 & 5) in not only taking pride in what hard work means, but it has also helped them to have self determination, focus on their goals, and to always carry themselves with respect for self and others (behavior/composure and manners are highly noticed in public settings).
0 system of Kenpo which is a common sense style of Karate that combines elements of Jiu Jitsu and grappling along with traditional stand up Karate into a system that is useful in real world situations for real life self defense.
Both my children attend here for karate classes and we love it!
His presence commands respect from his students via strength and confidence in his own skillset; students are made to feel capable and qualified from the moment they first step onto the mat, as self-mastery and self-reliance are clear principles of this well managed classroom.
He is the type of kid that needs to be challenged in order for him to enjoy something and this class is definitely doing just that.
My older child who has ADHD has learned how to maintain more focus and concentration as well as skills that have translated to the academic classroom.
Teaching so much more than just self defense and discipline while giving each child confidence, they are also teaching the values of teamwork, adaptability, over coming adversity, loyalty, the list of positives just goes on....
I know I taught him manners (I was a broken record night and day repeating rules and expectations), he knew right from wrong but still he wasn't acting like it when I wasn't around and our relationship was already becoming a resentful one.
If you want an instructor that genuinely cares and believes our kiddos should earn their belts, not just be given to them, then this is the place to go.
