On a lark I searched for piano lessons in Longmont and with no surprise, found nearly everything to be geared towards school children and ENDLESSLY practicing scales.
I am an adult student so I am going through a more traditional teaching program with her.
My son (11) and daughter (9) started six months ago with no previous experience whatsoever, and now both of them feel confident and energized about learning music.
I love that Brenda focuses on making music and trying new things at every lesson, and finds ways to celebrate every step of the way!
It is such a fun and unique way to learn and the teacher is patient, kind, and fun.
If you have a student who is not very patient (like I do), this early pay-off really helps with buy-in.
We're blown away by how quickly our kids (8 and 4) have confidently learned to play REAL music that is fun to listen to and continuously challenging then and expanding their repertoire.
My kids have learned so much from her in a short period of time, and they REALLY enjoy their piano lessons!
Being from a non-musical background I love the gift of music introduced to our home by Ms Brenda!
