At Improv-LA the focus is different. From class #1, our goal is for you to reach your goals for signing up for an improv class in the first place. The classes work around the students in them. Want to be better at public speaking, or get outside of your comfort zone and gain confidence, think quicker, and become funnier? Or gain some advantages at work or undeniably useful skills when auditioning? Want to perform improv, well you can do that too in the higher levels if that's what you're after too. Whatever your goal - we'll get you there.

It's a self selecting group of diverse, interesting and creative people who choose to do improv, so you'll like find some great new friends there as well.
This review is for the 3-hour intro Comedy Sketch writing class, but I've also taken level one Improv with them, and the 3-hour intro Voice Over class.
If you feel your social muscles have become a bit rusty and want to start flexing them again, Improv-LA is the perfect solution.
I had done more comedy sports types of games with improv (think Whose Line Is It Anyway), but he took us into relationship-based improv that was both challenging and a lot of fun.
Absolutely fantastic learning environment with extremely knowledgable instructors.
Even if you’re not looking to further your career in entertainment, Improv LA is a great place to make great friends at the very least!
