My 11 year old son expressed interest in piano. We have a keyboard and were recently issued an upright piano. My son would watch YouTube videos and learn a few songs. I was referred to [Hudson View Piano Studio] by a friend. We scheduled an introductory lesson (which was free) with Kirk. My son loved his lesson! Kirk was very kind, and encouraging and was able to connect to my son. Each week, my son is eager to go to his lessons and practices daily. Although I don't play piano, I do see musical growth/improvement in my son and he is internalizing what he is taught by Kirk. I highly recommend Habana Music Studio & I am very happy that my son is taking lessons.

Overall I would highly recommend to any adult at any level looking to sharpen their skills or take a new approach to learning piano than traditional You Tube videos.
His lessons are very age appropriate for each of my children and there is a perfect blend of structure, music theory and then learning pieces that are seasonal, fun or directed at my children's general interests (for example, learning holiday songs in December and some Disney songs).
Kirk is a very good and patience teacher.
